Karen D Lincoln, one of Drew CDC’s board member wrote an article for the Wall Street Journal this week that was rated the No. 5 post between all their blogs on Wednesday. The article spoke about the hardships her father faced due to health issues after retirement.
She learned that having a Long-Term-Care plan is essential for the future. According to the article, “65% of Americans 40 years or older report doing ‘only a little’ planning for their long-term care needs or ‘none at all.'” Without having a proper long-term care plan, costs of changes in health or housing can ruin careful investment plans for post retirement.
