(I am not receiving cash aid but I have received cash aid within the last 24 months)
If you are currently receiving cash aid for yourself or have received cash aid within the last 24 months, you may qualify for Stage 2 Child Care services funded by the California Department of Education. To determine your eligibility, you will need to complete the Confidential Application for Child Development and Certification of Eligibility (CD9600). You will need to demonstrate eligibility based on your income and family size and have at least one child under age 13 or under age 21 with exceptional needs, living in the home. In addition, you will be required to provide verification of your need for child care such as employment, school or training, seeking employment, incapacitation, seeking permanent housing or have a Child Protective Service (CPS) or at-risk referral. You will need to complete an enrollment packet to further complete the certification process.
You may contact our office at (310) 638-8108 to learn more information regarding our Stage 2 requirements for enrollment.
