Our Mental Health program is funded through a contract provider relationship with LA County – Dept. of Mental Health allowing us to provide outpatient mental health services to children/adolescents and their families who have Medi-Cal as their primary insurance source.
In this strategic role, and reporting to the Director of Mental Health Services, you will ensure the success of the Mental Health Program by:
- Ensuring that the Program meets contractual and regulatory requirements and high quality service delivery.
- Assisting the Director of Mental Health Services in developing and managing of the annual operating budget.
- Supervising, training and mentoring Clinicians, Clinical Supervisors, and Program staff and ensuring career growth and high staff morale.
- Enhancing operations through policy and procedure development, finding ways to reduce
Program costs and increasing the quality of service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have: (1) a current California state license in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology; (2) a minimum of three years’ supervisory experience and two years overseeing a DMH contract; and (5) a demonstrated ability to foster a work environment of professionalism, accountability, and team work. Spanish speaking is a strong plus.
