Our Programs
Our programs serve the whole family.
We nurture a brighter future by giving children and families the support they need.
Drew Child Development Corporation prepares the children of Watts-Willowbrook, Compton and South Los Angeles to succeed and thereby strengthen our community.
Drew Child Development Corporation (Drew CDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education and well-being of at-risk children in South Los Angeles, CA. Since 1987, Drew CDC’s community-based programs have provided a variety of essential services to the underserved and culturally diverse families in our community. Drew CDC currently helps over 18,000 children and families every year.
We create stimulating environments so that the children in our programs can live and learn in a place where educational experiences are always within reach.
It takes a lot to create a healthy family. That’s why our educational, developmental, subsidy, and mental health programs work together to support families and help them access the services they need.
Children’s families and caregivers are their first and best teachers, so we provide services and resources to help them succeed in this critical role.
Our programs serve the whole family.
Drew CDC events support families, celebrate local heroes, and build community throughout South LA.
